Rogers, Ark.– USL Arkansas invites members of the media and the Northwest Arkansas community to participate in the “Name The Team” campaign, a fan-centric initiative that empowers soccer enthusiasts to contribute to the branding of the area’s first professional soccer teams. The campaign comes after a series of community listening sessions and reflects USL Arkansas’s commitment to community input.
Details are as follows:
WHAT: “Name The Team” Campaign — An interactive, online initiative allowing fans to propose names for Northwest Arkansas’s first professional soccer team.
WHEN: Now through the end of October.
WHERE: Online on the Fan Zone tab of the USL Arkansas website: Name The Team Campaign
WHY: “After gathering feedback from our community listening sessions, it’s now time to begin our club branding process. We want to hear from you, Northwest Arkansas—what are your name ideas and why? It’s your club…help name it,” said Chris Martinovic, co-founder of USL Arkansas.
“Community is the backbone of any successful soccer club, and this campaign allows us to incorporate the voice of Northwest Arkansas directly into our identity,” added Warren Smith, co-founder of USL Arkansas.
